I need a good side dish recipe for a neighborhood block party.

So I am going to a neighborhood party and I need to bring a side dish. It is sort of like a picnic type thing and the food will be outside so it cant really be something that would have to stay hot.

Thank youuuI need a good side dish recipe for a neighborhood block party.
My sister made this for our last gathering, almost all was gone, but about 1 serving left in the triffle dish...while we were cleaning up I just ate it out of the serving dish....everyone was laughing because I hardly eat anything..............delicious!!

In a saucepan bring pineapple juice and water to a boil

These are the best baked beans in the world. They are great hot or room temp. They are always the first thing to go whenever I make them for a cookout.

1lb of cooked crispy chopped bacon (drained)

2 28oz cans of Bush's country style baked beans

1 6oz can French's french fried onions

1/2 C. of Molasses

1Tbsp Garlic powder

Pepper to taste

Salt to taste

Mix all the ingredients together

Place in a greased 9x13 Pyrex dish and Bake at 350 for about 35-45 minutes. They are outstanding!
Make this Italian Salad:

Cook 1 pound of bow-tie pasta ( or whatever your favorite shape is) as directed. Drain %26amp; rinse, then set aside.

Add 3/4 cup sliced black olives, 3/4 cup feta cheese crumbles, 3/4 cup diced tomato, 1/2 cup diced onion, 1/2 cup diced green pepper, and 3/4 cup chopped pepperoni.

Toss together with 1 cup of Italian dressing (fat-free works great!) and the pasta.

If you don't like Feta, use small cubes of mozzarella or provolone.
take a large white cabbage ,shred finely using a mondoline after coring[mind your fingers cloce to the blade]. now grab handfuls and twist and generally attack it so the fibres break and it becomes limp .now squeeze the juice of a lemon into it a bout two teaspoons of salt , and agood grind or six of the pepper mill. goes very well with kebabs ,barbecue etc.
potato salad but you need to keep in cooler until you serve it.or baked beans . also potato chips with dip will also be nice.
